If I have a long job, is there a way to stop the progress and restart when I return to the shop?
If you know this is the case in advance, my suggestion would be to break the job up into suitable time period portions.
If not, some folks have left the machine paused overnight.
Alternately, note the machine origin/offset, and which line the machine is at, open up the G-code, copy out the header, delete down to where the last Z down move above the last executed line is, restore the header, save under a new file, and then re-send that.
