Simulation for Customer Design Proof - use create or 3rd party?

Hello,

I’m posting this question because I noticed the tool path simulation on Carbide Create is not so pretty to look at. Another thread that I found on simulation issues suggest using a 3rd party G-code simulator…

Is this the same advice if you need to show a customer what the finished product would look like?

CAMotics seems to generate very nice images.

If it’s a small part, you might be able to scale the file up in Carbide Create (you’ll have to increase the size of the tooling and depths to match) to get a nicer preview (maybe).
