Vcarve inlays using f engrave

I want to do vcarve inlays on my shapeoko xxl. I downloaded f engrave and followed a tutorial on you tube. It was easy to follow and pretty straight forward. I have the files ready but am not clear on how to load them into Carbide Motion. Can someone explain the prices to me?
The main thing I noticed is the files from Carbide Create have a .nc file extension and the files from f engrave are .ngc. can the .ngc files be loaded directly into Carbide Motion?

Yes.

If Carbide Motion doesn’t see the files in question then just change the extension to one of the supported ones (list at: https://wiki.shapeoko.com/index.php/Carbide_Motion_Machine_Control_Software#Supported_extensions )
