1/8" collet not all the way seated

I am attempting to use my 1/8" collet for the first time and am finding it is not seating all the way in like my 1/4" collets are. I have the carbide router and am using the collets that came with the shapeoko. Here are some pics of how it sits compared to the other collet and how many threads are still available after it starts to get tight.

Is this the C3D 1/8" collet ?
can you take a pic of the collet itself?

So just to be sure, that second pic in your first post is when using the 1/4" collet, correct ?

the 1/4" and 1/8" collets should have the same total height. Contact support@carbide3d.com?

I’ll contact them, it’s the same height as the other collets but the diameter must be slightly larger or something because it just jams in there when I try to tap it in…
