I really like that! Did you design it your self? If not, where did you get it? Also, what thickness board did you start with and what’s the finished thickness?

Man! That looks incredible! I also like that it is wavy and with all the knots! :+1: :+1:

Stan, I bought the design about a month ago off Etsy. I can’t for the life of me remember which shop I got it from. The thickness to begin with was 1.125" or 1 1/8". The finished thickness runs from 1 1/8" to 1/2" on the thin side. So you could technically cut it out of a 3/4" board, but it would be mighty thin in places.

If you have a good hardwood supplier in your area, you can get the thicker wood. Thanks for the kind words.

Hi Nathan, thanks for the compliment. I love the grain in this one especially.

You have done old glory proud. Looks great. Ooh-Rah

How long did that take to carve ?

6 hours, 2 tools. rough took about 3 1/2 and final pass 2 1/2. Used a 1/4 end mill for the rough and a 1/32 ball end bit for the final.
