I’m experienced in 2D and 2.5D creation in Carbide Create. I am using pro and decided to try 3D carves. I create a file with the flag image I created, the 3D components (not sure what to call them but it’s the info created under the Model tab), and the tool paths. I get the file to look exactly how I want it and I save the file. When I re-open the file all the stuff under the model tab is gone and when I go to look at the simulation there is basically nothing because all my 3D design data is gone.
How do I save the file and have it save all the 3D model data I made under the Model Tab??
I run Carbide Create Pro on three different computers, depending on which room I’m working in. The same problem happened on each one of the computers. However, I updated to the most recent version on all three computers, and the file suddenly saved correctly. I’m not sure what caused it to happen, but the problem has been solved. Lesson learned: when unsure of the source of the problem update your software and maybe it will solve the problem!!
