What is the best way to clean up the little frayed wood grains after carving. I uses a TBN 1/64 and ran it 2x once with the grain and again at 90 degrees (both rasters). I have tried a mini media blaster and that doesn’t really work. The detail are extremely hard to sand or do by hand.
As Ed said, brass brushes or plastic bristle brushes. If its small fuzzies I would lean to the soft brass brush first followed by a harder plastic brush for the final pass.
I rough them down close with a 1/4" or 1/8" ball, then soak them good in sealer and let dry overnight before the finish pass with a 1/16", or rarely a 1/32" if it’s extremely fine detail.
