Is it possible to create this design in carbide create?
Sure, but one has to do a bit of an end-run around how things are cut since the obvious approach doesn’t work:
Draw up the top edges, then cut with a V carving:
Join things together:

Duplicate:
Either inset each piece slightly, or use separate toolpaths so that only non-adjacent regions are associated with a given toolpath:
so instead, one will need to set up diamond shapes for V carving:
which will need to be duplicated:
Then each connected with a line which cuts to the desired depth:
which previews as:
