Ive watched all the videos but they appear to be made with an older version of the tool.
How do you use the Z Scale in the 3D Import tool. How do you use Scale Height.
Also why does the Apply always turn off the Show 3D. Is this how it is supposed to work? It is very annoying.
There is also no place to choose the material for the Show 3D as it showed in the tutorial.

Please see:
It was the 3D Roughing and Finishing toolpaths in the user-provided file.

which arguably were a bad idea, since I didn’t notice that they skipped down from #201 down to #112 and didn’t use ball-nose tools…
Trying to re-create the described problem, we edit the 3D Model:

adding a base height which pushes the model up above the stock height.
If we then go to Toolpaths and assign a 3D Roughing toolpath:

using instead a tight vector around the 3D model:

and then try to create a 3D toolpath:

it is empty as was described as a problem.
Going back to the 3D model:

Basically if you want the object to come in at the same size it was generated at, set Z scale to 1.0 — if you want it half the height, use 0.5, twice, 2.0
