I am having trouble with my first attempt at a 3d cut. I have done everything I saw in the carbide video and for some reason there are drops offs to every depth instead of a smooth finish. Im not sure what im screwing up, any help would be appreciated.

That is the .c2d
I just used the two toolpaths, 3d rough and 3d finish that were shown in the carbide video that i had watched. This was just my first attempt at making it happen. I was using an 1/8 endmill for the roughing passes and then switching to a 1/8 ball for the finishing passes.
It looks like the 3d finishing pass is set to only cut between the outer box, and the inset box. Try selecting just the inside perimeter box and it should work correctly
