3D Printed Bit Protectors

I stupidly mounted my bits on a wall in my little basement woodworking area. I mounted them at shoulder height—so, surprise, I routinely cut my shirt on them. Solution: a 3D printed bit protector (really shoulder protector). Not exactly gallery worthy, but I thought folks might enjoy a laugh.

That is a good idea. Sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men go awry. Putting them on the wall saves space and still lets you see them. The reason you kept ripping your shirt is we are creatures of habit and you likely developed the habit of walking close to that was before you put the bits up there.

I just buy cheap tee shirts at Walmart because I either get stain or glue all over them. I used to get the heavy duty Dickies but they quit carrying them and have the Wrangler brand now. They are very thin but very cheap.
