Hi, I’m in the process of getting a friend 3D print some Essential Clamps. He said the Carbide3D 3D Printing file sets the infill at 15%. Is 15% infill sufficient or has anyone increased the density of essential clamps to make them stronger. He will be making them out of PETG.
Thanks
Matt
An STL file does not set the infill percentage, it is just the default of your slicer. More infill is stronger, but more wall perimeters has a much greater effect on the overall strength. I would focus on cranking that up first. If your slicer has a “strength” preset, use that.
