3D Printed Picture Frame Jig

I’ve had terrific luck gluing picture frames together and thought I’d share another example. Since I’m designing the picture frames in Fusion, it’s relatively easy to make a jig by modeling a ‘negative’ profile of the corner of the frame. Hard to describe but hopefully the photo illustrates the idea. Really tight, clean gluing without stressing about clamps. About 45 mins to print all 4 jigs.

BTW, this particular frame was easy to cut out but incredibly hard to sand. I should have taken another pass with a smaller end mill to clean up the areas between the stripes. Ended spending a couple of hours with sanding sticks trying to get everything uniform.
