I broke my cable end on my mini din connector for my shapeoko 3xxl, The board is 24 volts and there is only 2 wires coming off the cable, so they just splice the wires so on the 4 pin connector, 2 are positve and 2 are negative. I am in Mexico, so waiting for a replacement would be impossible. Has anyone had or fixed this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Hard to see if repair is possible with no pictures? Do you have a solder iron you can use? Is there a repair shop of some sort you can take it to? Is there a 4 pin round mini connector pigtail available online to ship to you and then splice in?
Agreed, pictures would be super helpful. I’m sure there are plenty of options to get you up and running while the proper part is in transit (maybe not officially supported but you gotta do what you gotta do)
