My recommendation on size is:
- if cutting sheet goods, get a 4x4
- if working with boards, get a 4x2
- if your parts/stock will fit, get a 2x2
If you’re doing signs, then a further consideration is how will they be delivered/picked up?
However, please keep in mind that if you get a 4x2, larger stock may be cut via tiling:
(if you get Carbide Create Pro, or if your designs are amenable to breaking them up and doing that manually)
