Let’s be honest here. I am very much considering getting the legs for my 4x4. This is my current setup…
But it does take up a bit more space than the machine footprint. I just want to know how long is the delivery process? I’ve seen a month and still not delivered. So how bad is it? I see it ships in about 5 days. I would assume that a week later I would have it in my possession.

What would the legs give you over your nice current setup? What do you thing would be the benefit of the leg kit? Looks like a nice setup but what is it that you dont like about the current setup.
The people that have an SO5 seem to like the leg kit. However most of them likely have a bad table or no table to set their machine on. It would be a lot of work to dismantle your current setup, apply the legs and then make some drawers or other storage. Just asking. Your setup looks like you put a lot of effort into it.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the setup, but after i finished the table and installed the casters, I built my machine on it. Came to fine out that the mdf surface is at about 48" from the floor. If i get the legs i can re-purpose the cabinets. The cabinets on the backside are pretty useless unless i move the table out.
If you’re asking for opinions, I think we need to see what’s in the drawers. If it’s take out menus and old batteries, then fair to say they’re “useless”, but if they’re storing tools/tooling, then maybe not.
I recently dismantled a cabinet with drawers to accommodate a new tool. I thought it would be “easy” to find new space for those displaced tools, but it’s proving otherwise.
