65mm spindle and controller issue

Hey yall

I’ve got my shapoko pro all set up but the spindle isn’t working. Not sure if it’s a power issue like I’ve read, I currently have it plugged into the wall using a thick ext cord since I don’t have a plug nearby. When I turn the controller on, it displays a variable number around 175… and blinks.

When I go to input the 10k rpm on the controller and press enter, it goes blank again displaying blinking dash marks.

The only button on the controller that did anything to the spindle is the jog button, which spins the spindle drive at a slow pace until I release the button.

I have the power switch and front red led button on the controller, it’s set-up in carbide motion under new machine, just no connectivity once the job is started. It won’t spin either during a “warm up” phase either.

Mine quit working one day, and it turned out to be a loose connection between the VFD controller and the other box. I checked them all, and thought they were tight, but I went back and unplugged and reconnected each one and it worked.
I’ve also seen reports of the little pigtail cable connected on the wrong end of the long cable. I’m not at my machine, so I can’t see which end it is on, but the other posts said the molex connectors fit in either end, but one of the orientations makes it not work
