80MM VFD ER20 Collet

Hi All,

I’m just starting out and learning as I go through this process. I bought the starter endmill kit from Carbide3d. The ER20 collet that came with the machineseems to be too big for the #201 endmill that I would first like to start working with. I’m looking at this collet that is 1/4"

Would this be the right collet to get for the #201?

The Carbide 3D spindles should all ship with a 1/4" collet which works w/ 1/4" tooling.

Did you snap the collet into the nut?

Post a photo showing how the nut and collet are assembled and how you are tightening it?

I did snap the collet into the nut and it went on the spindle just fine. I think I received two 1/2" and 1 x 1/8" collet with my spindle.

See picture attached

In that case, write in to support@carbide3d.com and we’ll send you the missing 1/4" collet.
