For current machines, homing switches are the default and are required and included as part of the kit. Once assembled, enable them per: https://docs.carbide3d.com/support/carbideupdater/#carbide-motion-v4If you have an older machine please see: https://docs.carbide3d.com/shapeoko-faq/shapeoko-3-limit-switch-installation/ and https://docs.carbide3d.com/shapeoko-faq/shapeoko-enable-homing/Note that our switches are homing only, but enable soft limits when jogging in Carbide Motion, hence the confusing terminology.
