Adcanced Vcare on Other Brand CNC's

Hi everyone,
I have a Genmitsu 4040 Pro CNC machine and I am running a Mac and only software I can really find for the Mac is Carbide Create which I am enjoying (Free V6 so I can export G-code to G-sender). I wanted to do an advanced Vcarve but realise if I don’t have a Shapaeko Machine with a bit setter I may be in a bit of trouble with tool changes in the job. Anyone have any suggestions please? Thank you so much in advance for your help!

You can split the gcode into separate paths. Manualy in a text editor, or there’s an online utility for it. Search fenrus gcode splitter.
You could also use collars on your tools so they are the same length.

There are two solutions besides what @Tod1d suggested. I have not personally used them but they should work.

First is a C3D option. You must be logged into the community to access:

https://my.carbide3d.com/extractgcode/

There is an older site on github that one of our community users fenrus made some time ago.

https://fenrus75.github.io/FenrusCNCtools/javascript/gcodesplit.html

You can try these to split advanced vcarve tool paths to use on 3rd party machines.

If you buy the Pro version of Carbide Create you can save gcode files. Not sure about the advanced vcarve even with the Pro version but the above sites should work. Please report back if they work.
