can someone run me through the process of adding a new bit to the tool list in Motion
For current versions the tool list in Carbide Motion is hard-coded and limited to those sold by Carbide 3D.
It is possible to add a tool to Carbide Create:
https://carbide3d.com/hub/courses/create/tool-library/
and it may be the future versions will improve how such 3rd party tooling is handled.
