Adding Color easily?

Is anyone else considering that new UV printer from Eufymake?

It could potentially be a nice way to add color to a CNC project if you can get things lined up properly.
I don’t think it would handle changes in depth, so most likely just for the top surface.

Well…… I can neither confirm or deny the possibility of said product to be shipping soon! :sunglasses:

Nice. I put the early bird deposit down but haven’t decided if I pull the trigger. The cost with the early discount is nice but if I let that slip it’s prohibitive.

I haven’t seen anyone talking about “ink” consumption.

We jumped in, took advantage of the early bird special and we have been able to see more reviews about ink consumption/cleaning solution. It seems the ink consumption is very low for normal prints, the white ink goes fast as you build the height up to 5mm. We do not plan on printing 3D too much. So time will tell but it seems that each week brings forth much more info. The plan is definitely to combine the cnc and print capabilities for some projects. It will be interesting on how different wood will take the ink, probably using a sealer of some sorts prior to printing but we will need to experiment on the workflow to get acceptable results. I don’t want to derail this forum with the Eufy, I will provide results however for the process of wood prep with respect to printing if wanted.
