This is probably a dumb question but.I would like to drill 5/64" holes with my Shapeoko 4xl using a 5/64" drill bit. So I’m asking if anyone knows of chuck that can used on the router to hold such a small drill bit?
Thanks,
Jim

Get some 5/64" (0.0781") drill bits with 1/8" shank.

I use these for my small cribbage board holes and they work great.
Thanks Mad Hatter. I ordered one

Any sort of tool which is used needs to be rated to spin at the speeds of a trim router/spindle — if you did source a 5/64" collet, then used an ordinary drill bit rated only to spin at hundreds of RPMs the results could be disastrous.
I’ve bought quite a few tools from the Oliver Tool Company on eBay (previously Drillman1) and they have been uniformly excellent and worked quite well.
Note that another option is to use a smaller tool and machine as a pocket rather than use a drill operation — this can work well to mitigate deflection if it is a problem in the material being worked with.
