Adjusting the depth of 3d figure

I am using Carbide Create Pro and cant seem to figure out how to make the depth of the figure different. I can get it to start farther from the top of the board but the depth of the remains the same.
Looking to get a little more detail by making the figure deeper.

I assume you’re importing a STL ?

When you import, the entire STL will be scaled down to the height you set. This includes anything below the parting line if it’s a 2 sided model. CC just carries those edges straight down.

Remove Z Height will remove a percentage of the model from the bottom. So if your STL model is symmetrical top to bottom (as you’re importing it), and you only want the top half, set your desired height and set the “Remove Z Height” to 50%

If that doesn’t help, or I made a bad assumption, post the file & explain what you wish to do with it.
