When using a Joy stick you can move x,y and z Outside the main jog window. IE in set zero and you can page up and down, or +and - with the right triggers. but you cant directly change the speed by pressing 1,2,3,4 and it may make sense as you could be entering a number in one of the fields, but then again the field might not be in focus so … regardless 
If there is a reason that the direct speed keys cant be used, maybe we can add an alternative like 1,2,3,4
For me I map these direct speed keys to the XYAB on the joystick. but they don’t work outside the main jog screen. while the other buttons do.
Or maybe there is another way that I am missing.
