I like making small and simple things with the Nomad. A family member asked if I could make 28 game tokens for a new Trading Card Game (TCG). Mostly walnut inlays in Maple; all pieces 0.080" thick with the 13 tokens in the top three rows (on the included picture) double sided, inlay on these 0.035" deep. Large tokens are 1.25" in diameter, smaller ones are 0.625" in diameter. Smaller tokens have 0.030" deep Cherry ring inlays. Using a 0.015" end mill and simple wooden holding jigs, with the Nomad, makes it possible.

Very nice looking. I am working on a Dungeons and Dragons dice tower. I came in to lay out a stairway for the dice to roll down and got distracted on looking at the forum.
The outside and inside are turned. It is a segmented turning made out of rosewood. I need to make a mouse hole at the bottom. My design for this afternoon is to make the stair case inside the vessel for the dice to roll down. Then I need to turn a platter for the dice to roll out onto. My kids love games but I just dont have a spark for games.

Well, maybe not 1/16" diameter?

Oops…hate it when that decimal gets in the wrong place. Thanks for catching that.
