Alternatives to Carbide 3d and Amazon for end mills

Can you guys offer alternative websites to order eve mills from. Besides Amazon. Sometimes it’s a pita to dig through end mills Amazon.

As a strict hobbyist, I’ve had good luck with Shars. Prices seem reasonable to me and they’ve got tons of options.

OLIVER TOOL COMPANY | eBay Stores - Oliver Tool Company eBay

Cody’s CNC has some specialized but very useful bits - downcut and compression endmills, and downcut V bits.

I used Harvey’s “Find a Distributor” link to find a local company which sells endmills — they were gracious enough to allow me to drop in and give them a check for some special-order endmills which they added to their next order, and then rang me when they had arrived.

A salesperson was kind enough to discuss my needs and hand me a stack of catalogs which was very informative and educational.

Try

Carbide Depot

I’ve had good luck with Cadence as well as
IDC Woodcraft
There is a Carbide Create database download as well on the site.

Not that I’ve bought end mills from them, but McMaster is one of my go-to for a lot stuff. McMaster has one of (if not the) best way to filter results for what you are looking for (whether endmill, bolts & nuts or other things).

Another place that specializes in tooling for machining is MSC, also Grainger. Of these three, often McMaster is cheaper, but not always.

I’ve bought bits from both Oliver Tool Company, mentioned above and from drillbitsunlimited.com.
Make sure you read the descriptions carefully. Some of the bits are previously used (but which have plenty of life left). I’ve been very satisfied with both new and the used bits, but make sure you are buying what you want.

One more vote for McMaster-Carr. I have bought endmills from them for many years. Also, some from SpeTool. Pretty good selection at both. Fast shipping. This is not an endorsement or a recommendation, just what I have done in the recent past.

I’ve bought from SkyOne CNC, Cody’s CNC, and High Country Tools… all have been fantastic.

This is awesome guys. There are a couple y’all mentioned i have forgot about. Some new, I’ve been checking them out as I read them.

Thank you - everyone!
