Hi anyone here that have numbers on the the difference in flex original mdf board vs aluminum
A LOT vs not a lot. I can flex my mdf tenths of an inch. Aluminum would be hundredths at the most

While I don’t have any specific numbers (and agree w/ @Liferj’s estimation), I will note that the HDZ is considered to be the preferred first upgrade (best of course is both, and I’m really looking forward to getting one for the SO3 which has an aluminum bed which I keep at my mother-in-law’s).

I already have the HDz and linear rails on x axis 
. Was just siting by the machine and thinking. Have an aluminum plate coming this week so I might be satisfied.
