Amana 46237-k cutter info

Hello- I just purchased an Amana 1/16 downcut bit (46237-k). I want to add this bit to my library. Can anyone screen shot the cutter info. for this tool? Thank you.

I think this is what you want.

Here’s the link to the PDF.

Please note that the Amana feeds and speeds are intended for heavy-duty industrial machines — you will probably want to at least consider the feeds and speeds we have for the similar #112.

Yes- I saw that as well. Trying to make sense of it.

Yes, I will do that. Thank you. I have the 112 bit but when I use the up cut, it really makes a mess on the surface

Yup, the downcut bits are a necessity to maintain a clean cut top surface. But you do have to be more careful with your DOC & how the chips do not get lifted out by the bit as it’s cutting - especially if you’re making a slot & it gets deeper. The chips tends to get packed into the cut volume and can cause lost steps if you’re cutting too aggressively. Compression bits are a bit better as the end of the bit is usually upcut, but they still pack the chips into the slot.

Not the exact same flute length, but here are my 1/16 downcut parameters…
