Another Advanced Vcarve topic

I know, there are a ton of Advanced Vcarve questions and issues and I think I have read all of them and tried to follow as many as I can but still not getting the results of others.

I see the statement of letting AVcarve set the depth and I’ve not seen that happen even though I’ve increased the total depth of the board by .5 inches over actual I still don’t get anything but jagged edges and no “round over” at the surface of the text.

Sorry, but again, Help??

Can you describe the problem a little more?

When I loaded your file, the stock was too narrow (I set it to 24" instead)… but the carve looks correct for your settings:

Are you expecting to see something else?

(edit: If you are expecting something like the following, you need a pocket toolpath or a profile, not a vcarve)
