Another Good Video about Up and Down Cut Bits

I found another good video on youtube about the issues you can have with up and down cut bits. The presenter is trying to sell his services at the end but the video is worth watching. What I liked about it is it explains why you get a lot of marks in the bottom of pockets with Up/Down cut bits.

Yes this has first class information and solid advice to improve your pocketed surfaces.

Perhaps @Julien can incorporate this advice in his cnc book?

Good point, I will (try).

An interesting description of the dark forces working against us, when we might imagine whirring steel and solid gantries are perfectly spot-on. This down-pull from up-cut bits is referred to in a number of recent posts in the forum where people realise their bits have pulled down in the collet - either insufficiently tight collet or over-aggressive cutting where these cork-screw forces show up more obviously. A useful piece of information - thank you @gdon_2003 for posting this.
