Anti Static Fans

I have had my share of disconnects in conditions with low humidity. A common concern here on the board is that the disconnects are caused by static discharge and it is recommended to place grounds throughout your enclosure and within any dust collection. I have done all of this and still have the occasional problem.
Last week I was talking with an engineer friend who has an extensive background in building clean rooms, tech rooms and assembly lines for the tech industry. He stated that they frequently use Ionization Fans to help control static discharge.
I searched the web and was able to locate a lot of these ionization fans. The are pretty cheap.
I searched this forum and could not find any reference to them.
If they work as described, would this cure a lot of the disconnect problems?
Has anyone ever used these things? Any thoughts on them?

Yep, they can work to reduce ESD. But, one big problem is that the ozone they produce is extremely harmful to your lungs. Even at vey low levels.

How i got rid of static problems

Ground machine properly and separately. Hose and dust barrel also grounded. PC also grounded.
Have noticed that when dust barrel is nearly full it starts to function like a battery or gains bigger charge and it doesnt go away with ground… so fix was for me, empty barrel in 2/3 of fill

And i have humidifier in workshop what keeps air 40% of humidity.
