Apple II (Nerdstalgia)

Finished a nerdy-fun project this week.
My first computer (1983ish) was an Apple IIe, so I recreated that original 5.25 floppy drive as an external enclosure for a new disk cloning station.

The enclosure holds the cloning station, power adapter, cables and some spare m.2 drives.

And thumbs up on the Carbide 3D Jog Pendant. My Shapeoko 3XL continues to be a rock solid machine, impressed that even after 6 years a new device just plugs in and works.

Very cool, Robert. The first computer I also used (but not owned) was a IIe. The Macs I owned had Motorola chips, I stopped paying attention to Apple when they started talking about going to Intel chips…

It looks awesome already but my brain started picking different woods for making the apple logo multicolored.

My first computer was a Tandy (dating myself there) Color Computer II. But we had Apple II computers at school. Love your take on it!

I had an Osborne. (Look it up).
There is not enough wood for that :joy:

My dad had one when I was growing up. I still remember some of the quirks of easily word processing from it. My grandfather worked at TI back in their glory days, so he had a whole room dedicated to computers.
