Nice work! Looks good.
Thanks. Here’s another file with a little larger design. This one is 11 x 17 instead of 9 x 11 still made with with 1/2 PVC
The most important feature of an address sign is your house is found in an emergency . Of course invited guests want to find you as well.
Your sign looks great. Just make sure is readily available in plain sight.
Some cities change addresses in the middle of a block or you are on the edge of another city or county.
Google used to be pretty lousy at finding your address but they have improved over time.
Very nice. And thanks for sharing the file. Did you do any masking before painting? What paint works well on the PVC board?
I just use regular RustOleum indoor/outdoor spray paint for the cut parts. Then with a small 4 inch foam roller paint the top coat with Acrylic semigloss outdoor paint . Then i apply a clear coat to help protect the finish. No masking is done. When doing the top coat don’t put too much paint on the roller and don’t press down too hard so the paint doesn’t get into the cut part.
Sometimes I do put a piece of clear shelf liner paper on top of the project before i cut everything to make painting a little easier. If the design is very intricate i don’t this because its a pain to peal off little pieces of the film after spraying the cut parts. Although it would work well for this piece.
Here’s two more designs of a simpler house sign. These are really easy and quick to make because they use a 1/4 end mill. Using clear shelf liner would work very well on these

How about a nice little xmas sled. I started out doing this one on the CNC. Then last fall i got a laser engraver and found it was so much easier to cut this out on the laser. The little pieces in the Slats and Runners file are the runners for under the sled
