Assembly: X-Axis Sensor question

I am putting together my Shapeoko and I am mounting the sensor for the x-axis. All the documentation images show the sensor mounted with the sensor head above the screw:

However, with the sensor in this position, it never contacts the side rail (see below). This seems wrong. Did I miss something somewhere?

I believe the switch is upside down in the photo — I had to swap mine around a bit (on the original kit) before I was satisfied w/ how it connected.

Yes. I just heard back from support. The photos in the docs have it upside down.
