ATC for HDM - VFD Wiring?

I bought a Pwn ATC/MTC. I need to 1.) Disconnect the VFD, and 2.) I’d like to convert power to the Warthog control board to 110v.

  1. What does the BVFD cord control? It is not the spindle cable. It goes out to the machine, not the control board. It connects to the J3 jumper by the Spinerella label.
  2. Notice the black power port says 250v. Can I use that with 110v or would that be unwise? The power supply it connects to is switchable. I could alternatively just add a 110v port, but would prefer not to cut a hole in the cabinet.
  3. What are my options for powering the fan once I disconnect the VFD board. (The white jumper in the upper left.) Can it be powered from the Warthog, or would I need to add a small board?
  4. Where does the power button from the front of the HDM connect? If it connects to the Warthog, I should be good. If it connects to the VFD (like via that BVFD cable) I’d need to find a solution to connect it.
  5. What does the gray cord do? It connects from the Warthog’s J3/SPID jumper to the top of the VFD board. I think this is the communication wire from the Warthog to the VFD. The Pwn spindle uses a different jumper on the Warthog and connects to the PWM port on their VFD enclosure.
    TIA

you have to work with PWN on that they will answer questions

Yup, I am. Not very helpful yet. I guess I’m only the second HDM install and the first one wasn’t documented. My questions are mainly about how the HDM works. I am hopeful this forum may help. I may need to just figure it out on my own.

The warthog board gets DC power from the 35v supply that runs the logic and stepper motors. The AC comes in and feeds the VFD main power and the 35v DC power supply that runs the Warthog. What version HDM did you order?
