Auto arrange artwork to fit

Howdy folks… I have a weird question about Carbide Create. I have a task where I have a bunch of triangles with different angles that I can’t find the best way to fit together closely in my document and wood stock’s size.

I understand that Carbide doesn’t have any auto arrange feature, but I know software like the Cricut vinyl cutter’s do have similar features.

I need to arrange everything to fit as well as determining how much spacing between to use a 1/4" end mill. Perhaps this isn’t possible, but I’m struggling haha!

CC doesn’t do it, but you could try the FREE DeepNest software:

You would add a rectangle that will be the size of your stock, then save the design as an SVG. When DeepNest reads it, you can mark that rectangle as the stock size, and it will try to fit everything in. You can also tell it to leave a minimum distance between items, to leave room for the endmill you are using.
