Bearings fell out!

I’ve been using my pro for just over a year. At the beginning of each use, I pull the x rail all the way forward just to make sure it’s square (I think I saw a vid of Winston recommending that one time). Anyways. After doing that today, I looked down and saw two ball bearings on my work bench. Anybody know how much of an impact these will be? I can only assume they came out of the bearing carriages on the right y rail

Check the two idler rollers and see if there is play in the rollers. It will be easier if you loosen the belt first then you could spin the idlers and feel for movement or roughness when turning. Inspect the motor seals also but the balls seem too small for the motor bearings and the seals look to be in place but the full seal is not show.

If the balls are from the idlers you would need to replace the bearing and or the idlers. If the balls came out the others are not far behind and then you will have even worse problems.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m certain they must be front the linear blocks carrying the y carriage. It’s funny I never noticed, when pulled all the way to the front, these blocks hang past the y rails

I have two xxl pros. And see that both have this design

And when i get home tonight, I’ll be checking to see if my Pro is the same.
