This would make a nice little beginner Project. Used to measure servings of pasta. Holes are 1 serving, 2 servings, 3 servings, or 4 servings. Made on 12 x 5 1/2 x 3/8 inch stock. I would recommend some type of hardwood. Make one and show your wife it was worth spending all your money on a CNC machine. Or just go to the dollar store and pick one up for 2 dollars and tell her you made it.
You will need a 1/8 bit long enough to cut to 3/8 depth.
If my math is correct, your single serving is about 4.8 oz of dry spaghetti, whereas the 4 serving size is about 12 oz, or 3 oz per person.
Google seems to think 2 oz is a standard serving. But I usually make 1/2 # for 2 people, with a small serving left over, so probably about 3 oz per person sounds more reasonable.
So the circles would be 0.79", 1.12", 1.37", 1.58"
Still a cool idea for a project.
Of course, your version offers less wind resistance if she decides to use it as a paddle!
I looked up the sizes from one they were selling on line. Your free to adjust the circles to whatever you want. You can use the hole in the handle for baby servings
Apologies if that sounded overly critical. My hyper-numeric left brain has to do the math
I found some pictures that had similar sizes to yours.
When I cook pasta I usually use half a box, or a full box (pound). Which usually gets me some leftovers for a lunch or two. So no super-precise measuring.
But when I design or do geometry, I try to get things as exact as possible.
