No green light. One day it worked, then it didnt. Any diag for this, or it it just shot? All hooked up fine.
Do you also have a BitSetter?
Try swapping the connections?
Post a photo showing how things are connected?
This is my model. Machine it setting just how it has going on 5 years. I did move it for the pic. Surely couldn’t have come loose after all this time…
Remove the cover to the enclosure and send us a clear, well-lit, edge-to-edge, in-focus picture?
The idea I had was that if you had Proximity switches you could swap the BitZero connector onto the PCB Expansion Adapter — in the absence of that there isn’t really any additional testing which can be easily done unless you or a friend know electronics and have a multimeter and a way to provide current to it.
It’s either the homing switch in the BitZero or the controller, and without an easy way to swap/test with a known working unit it’s not really feasible to do so.
I am an auto tech going on 40 years, so Id like to think I know my way around auto electronics. But unsure of what I`m looking for in this situation. I dont have a problem with upgrading to a Bitsetter. Not really wanting to spend the money to find out its something in my control board.
Have you tried a simple wiggle test?
With the BitZero close enough where you can keep an eye on the LED, power on the machine. Then, lightly wiggle and twist the wires at the plug where it connects to the PCB. Hopefully you’ll see the LED light up.
