Hi,
Does the BitRunner work with 240vac, please?
I’ve received one with a US plug and socket on it, so am I able to use this in the UK?
Thank you.

Hi Peter,
Yes it does work with 240V (that’s what I use, and I do use an adapter plug too)
Thanks @Julien.
Adapter plug, rather than chopping them off and replacing them with UK (or your EU) versions?
I can find plug adapters, but socket adapters are a bit more difficult
I remember finding both adapters on Amazon, and even though the final setup looks a bit weird with a big round adapter in between my BitRunner and shopvac, I did not want to hack a 220V cable
Not wanting to confuse things here… but… temporary use of mains adapters is OK, but particularly for a higher power appliance such as a router/spindle, I would recommend avoiding them as they introduce resistance into the power flow and thus contact heating. If the BitRunner has a US socket integrated into its case, maybe you can’t avoid that. If it’s on the end of a cord, personally I would look to swapping it for a UK/Euro socket as appropriate.
Thanks, @AndyC. I will do that with the power-in lead, as it’s quite long, but I was thinking I might add a US plug (if I can get one) onto the power cable to the router, or switch to a UK power-out socket on on the BitRunner, but that cable is much shorter.
