BitRunner Pilot Light Blinking

I’ve got Shapeoko Pro XL and BitRunner v2.

For safety’s sake (and my fingers) I try to remember to turn off the BitRunner whenever I’m changing bits.

For whatever reason, after inserting a new bit just now, and pushing the button on the control, the light came on, the router started to run, then light went out and the router continued to run.

Pettern: Procedurally it’s at a point where the router SHOULD be operating. Before I hit enter to tell it to actually move and cut stuff, I see the light come on for about a second, then off for about ten seconds, then on again for a second, off for ten seconds and so on. The router itself doesn’t turn off at all while all that is happening. It’s just like the red light needs a nap.

I’ve checked connections and everything seems fine.

I’m about to start cutting a whole lot of stuff and don’t need broken bits, etc.

HELP!!!

While I was typing this, I left everything as it was and now the times for light on / light off have increase by about half. I’m shuttingt everything down to see if that helps later.

I’ve never had the BitRunner give a blinking indicator so don’t know if it means anything more than just the BitRunner turning on/off inexplicably.

You don’t have to use the BitRunner to run your router/spindle. Just bypass & operate it manually until you get the BitRunner figured out.
