The LED doesn’t come on and it doesn’t turn anything on and the “On” setting doesn’t turn anything on. Just suddenly stopped working. I must say that I’ve really come to rely on it.
Any suggestions?
Oops, it’s working again. Don’t know what happened there.
I had the same trouble and it was the cable where it attached to the controller board. To see if you have a connector problem you can run the MIDI interface to turn your router on and off. If the commands do not turn the router on and off it is most likely a connection problem. The main clue is there is no light. You should see a red led when the spindle is in auto and off, then a green led when the spindle is commanded to run in auto.
/M03 To turn on router, you do not need to specify speed
/M05 To turn off router
There is a slash before each command.
