Bitrunner v2 deluxe

I have a 2.4e control board and back at the first of the year I chatted with support to ensure the accessories I was buying would work with my machine. So with their blessing I ordered a bit setter and bit runner v2 deluxe because they said those were the ones to get. Where do I plug the bitrunner in on the control board nothing in their instructions matches the control board and it says will not work with 2.3 or older so I should be good

Please send a photo of your board in to support@carbide3d.com and we’ll work out how to handle this.

Yes I sent pictures in.

As @WillAdams suggested talk to support. From your picture you have an old style board and they did not have the BitRunner connector on it. For a while they sold a kit that you could solder the connector on but they have discontinued that. Support will help you but you will likely have to buy a new style board.

The new style boards replace the original one that has a big heat sink on the back that your cover attaches to. The new style removes the big heat sink and the new case is in two parts. One part attaches to the side rail (or back of small SO3) and the board mounts on that. Then the second part attaches via 4 thumb screws to secure the outer cover to the inner cover. The new boards have the BitRunner connector attached and the outer cover has a hole in the front side for it to stick through.

So if you have the old style board with heat sink then you will have to replace it with the new style board and cover kit. The old style cover will not fit on the new style boards.
