Several months of carving I can recommend V bits from Whiteside. I use #1500 and #1540 v-bits, a good value on softer woods. 1/4, 1/8 & 1/16 endmills I have been using Speed Tiger (off shore from Amazon) also with great success and can’t beat the price. Stopped using Oracal Oramask and pick up stuff from Dollar Tree, 1/3 the price of Oramask works great, CS vinyle paper permanent.
I’m with you on the Speed Tiger bits. I bought some 1/16th endmills and have been very happy with them.
I have oramask but use the Easy Liner Adhesive Shelf paper I get at walmart and/or lowes. Just press any mask down with a j roller to get good adhesion.
