And I did google the hell out of this before posting. I’ve been looking for alternate collets for a while. As far as Google is concerned, they don’t exist.
Any reason Carbide doesn’t list these on their accessories page? I see a lot of posts about Z-height, and once you get past the belts and set screws, this seems like something you guys should should sell.
We used to include the DeWalt as an option for the machine — we switched to the Carbide Compact Router when we arranged for them to be produced — the big advantage for the latter would be the lower min. speed.
I have the Dewalt 611 and got my collets from elairecorp.com as Will suggested. They work flawlessly. You can order them individually or as sets. The SAE are 1/4, 1/8 and 3/16. For metric they are 4 6 and 8MM.
Collet for Dewalt Routers; DWP611, DWP611PK. Porter Cable 450 Type 1 and 450PK Type 1.

If you buy both SAE and Metric suggest you mark the collets. The SAE and Metric look alike but are not compatible with each other. Never use metric collets with SAE bits and vice a versa.
