BitZero Ground Clip Shapeoko 3

I just received my BitZero and BitSetter (thank you Black Friday sale) and just finished installing them!

I got the BitSetter working and then moved onto the BitZero. I installed the ground clip on the left Y-axis belt tension screw but that doesn’t seem to be ground as the led doesn’t change from green to red. Is there some other location for the ground clip? The instructions seem to show it connected to the Carbide Motion PCBA cover but I don’t have a screw hole in the cover.

Sometimes the powder coat is thick. Try a star washer or remove some powder coat. If you have a multimeter check continuity of the clip wire. If you have a metric tap te-tap the hole.

I mounted it under one of the circuit board mounting screws to be sure it shared ground with the board.
