Confused about this statement on the V2 page. Does this mean V1 can’t probe aluminum?
“BitZero V2 uses a plastic base to insulate it from the workpiece so it’s now possible to probe conductive materials.”

The V1 can have a problem probing conductive materials if your machine is set up in such a way that metal materials on it connect to ground — usually the MDF baseplate is an insulator which prevents that, but it is a concern for folks w/ all metal threaded tables or T-track setups.
Ah. What would be a sign that this is an issue? Failed probing cycle?
The machine would be unable to Probe, because the BitZero being on the conductive surface would result in a signal for the Probe input.
