That said, I think a partial blind technique which allows cutting things flat on the machine is preferable — single setup/fewer operations and w/ the technique shown at:

should allow one to cut one set of parts (say the sides), then to cut the other parts (the ends) and test the fit — if things don’t fit, then adjust the file and recut until things to fit.
