I just received my Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x2 yesterday afternoon. Packaging was quite impressive with no damage from UPS.
Started assembly this afternoon and ran into problem with Hybrid Table extrusions. As per directions, I laid them out and put 1st row of screws in then 2nd row of screws in loosely. The 3rd row is all off with the pre-drilled holes all over the place.
Not really sure what to do next but reach out to Customer support tomorrow…
Definitely disappointed with the quality control on this but I have heard only good things about support.
Hoping to be making sooner than later….

Thanks James.
I have the gaps left/right. It’s the pre-drilled holes front to back that are underneath the MDF wasteboards on installation that are not lined up correctly.
I had the same issue.
Remove the extrusions and measure diagonally from front to back on each side. This should be done on the corners of the frame (side rails). Also this should be done before tightening the frame. Make sure both measurements are the same, adjust as needed. The frame must be square or the holes won’t line up. Once I squared mine they lined up much better

I would loosen the side rail connections. It maybe out of square a bit.
Then see if the extrusions fit up better.
Otherwise wait for the calvary
Will do…thanks again.

Since, I was setting Shapeoko 5 Pro 4*2 by myself, I have use this square aluminum to square the four corners of my new Shapeoko 5 Pro. I didn’t have issues with mine. Didn’t use a tape measure, easier for me to use the square the four corners.
Just to add - I had a similar issue. I followed the instructions to square the machine (push gantry forward) but then when coming to install the aluminium table, noticed it was very far out from square. I saw in one of the videos online them measuring diagonally from corner, and once I had done that, it all fit well.
